Construction are Real Estate suffer when the market condition is down, but just like Winter... Spring is coming soon. What can we do better now in our Local Asheville industry to brighten up our future? Promote your hometown! The more people and businesses that come to the area, the more economy we have. Does your business have a web presence? Build on that. What are your clients looking for? Make sure you have the resources available to attract and retain them. Weaverville is growing by leaps and bounds. West Asheville is improving daily into a quaint Arts & Crafts community. Arden is turning into a giant business hub where you can find just about anything. Asheville is coming together beautifully and all of us have the pleasure of being a part of it!

This beautiful home in located in Weaverville North Carolina. I am going to do a quick re-cap of costs and then talk about the selling price. The property, which is about 1.5 acres cost $30,000. Construction costs ended up being $160,000. This brings the total to $190k+/-. It is a Cape Cod with 2050 square feet plus a large one car garage in the lower level. Actual value would be around $335,000 but with the current market conditions and the "dead" season coming in, it is listed for $294,500. Oh... and that is without seeing the beautiful hand pieced rock pond that Al's Contractors, Inc. recently built. Different things always come into play when you are building, buying, or selling.  You have to consider costs plus potential overages, scheduling job progress and completion, the time of year when you are working on the home or selling the home, the type and style of the home, the area where it will be built, and finally... the clients you are targeting.
